Using mobile to build sustainable societies of the future
One of our highlights in 2016 was the discussion on using mobile to build sustainable societies of the future at Slush 2016. Funzi's Chief Evangelist Aape Pohjavirta and UNOPS's Rolando Tomasini were moderated by Member of Finnish Parliament as well as expert on conflicts Pekka Haavisto.
If you didn't make it to Slush and even if you did, check out the inspiring conversation on us all contributing to building a better future!

What's coming up in 2017?
We are busy preparing new exciting partnerships that enable us to provide skills to build your dreams to an even larger amount of motivated learners in 2017.
A large part of making Funzi accessible for free to everyone, everywhere is taking the Funzi message to large stages around the world. Funzi evangelism will be at work at SXSW in Texas in March 2017, under the topic of Tech for Good: Solutions for the Refugee Crisis:
"Participants from different backgrounds in the technology sector will discuss how technology and communities can be used to create solutions for the greater good. With a focus on the refugee crisis, panelists will discuss practical projects they are involved in, ideas, visions and outline ways of how you can use your own skills to make a difference."
