Funzi and SWITCH-Asia project for sustainable future
Funzi co-launched a mobile course in Vietnam for 500,000 consumers. The course is part of the EU-funded SWITCH-Asia Eco-Fair project aim to raise awareness of sustainable production and consumption of food. Mobile learning is a key component of the project. The course is available on funzi.mobi in Vietnamese.
Our planet needs rapid changes in consumption and production. Mobile learning is a cost-efficient way to distribute information and educate people in large numbers.
Mobile learning for half a million people and 1000 MSMEs
The Eco-Fair project has two main objectives, to raise consumer awareness and engage MSMEs in sustainable food production while cutting production costs. Eco-Fair mobile courses are free for learners. The course for consumers gives practical advice on how to recognize sustainably produced products, and it helps to understand what kind of daily activities can decrease for example the consumption of plastic.
The program will reach 1000 MSMEs and most motivated organizations will receive hands-on support and training from the partners of the Eco-Fair project. They will also gain financial opportunities and business advice.
