What we learned during the discussions in this event is that learning and education are changing. The current education structure does not serve the contemporary global needs, and the formal education system is teaching inaccurate things in inefficient methods.
Emerging markets have the opportunity to take a huge leap forward while developed countries will struggle with bureaucracy and institutionalized education structures. Emerging markets can move from teaching knowledge to teaching skills.

They will adapt to the changing delivery methods, but tech providers are an integral part of problem-solving. The solutions already exist to make learning and skills development more flexible and individualized, and the publishers will get on board as the demand is increasing.
Young adults in emerging markets are highly motivated and adaptable to change. Their hope is the catalyst to ignite the spark.
